B2B documents and printing

Last updated

B2B orders in ChannelDock generate a set of documents tailored to wholesale and freight shipments. All B2B documents are available from the B2B documents dropdown on the open-order panel, and from the bulk action menu in the orders list.

Available documents

Document Parcel Pallet Freight What it contains
B2B packing slip Full product breakdown, PO number, customer reference, payment terms, and which products are on which pallet (if assigned)
Pallet label One label per pallet, numbered (1/3, 2/3, 3/3), with order reference, customer info, and weight
Commercial invoice Product lines with values, country of origin, HS codes (if set), sender and receiver addresses
Delivery note Simplified packing list without prices — used when the receiver should not see costs

Printing from the orders list (bulk)

  1. Select one or more B2B orders in the orders list.
  2. Open the Bulk actions menu and choose the document type.

Pallet labels

Pallet labels are only available when the shipment type is Pallet or Freight and you’ve assigned products to pallets via the pallet assignment panel.

Each label shows:

  • Order number and PO number
  • Customer name and delivery address
  • Pallet number (e.g. 1/3, 2/3, 3/3)
  • Total weight and dimensions (if entered)
  • A barcode for scanning

CMR document

The CMR (Contrat de Transport International de Marchandises par Route) is generated for Freight shipment type orders. It includes:

  • Consignor (sender) and consignee (receiver) details
  • Place of departure and delivery
  • Goods description and gross weight
  • Number of pallets
  • Instructions to the carrier

The CMR is pre-filled from the order data, but you should always review it before handing it to the carrier.
